Empire State Development yesterday circulated the agenda for the belated Community Update Meeting (formerly Quality of Life), to be held at the Shirley Chisholm State Office Building on Tuesday May 12 at 6 pm.
Among the items are updates on the construction of four buildings--including the upcoming B3--the green roof, and the Long Island Rail Road.
Some questions I have:
--why are Flatbush and Atlantic avenues being closed at the same time for green roof work, when previously that was not supposed to happen?
--what's the timetable for green roof? how far behind are they? (note that they began to install sedum just at the end of April, which barely complies with the schedule, but only because they did not take two months off in winter)
--how can they offer an update on the construction of 550 Vanderbilt (B11), when it officially hasn't begun yet?
The schedule for the rest of the meetings
