So much for using the loading dock; truck delivering equipment for Streisand show parks outside arena

"For all its swagger, the arena makes nice to the neighbors in various ways," wrote New York magazine critic Justin Davidson in his rave for the Barclays Center. "To avoid clogging roadways, trucks swing into the Dean Street loading docks and ride elevators to a massive underground turntable that positions them in their respective bays."

Except when they don't--like a truck parked in a lay-by yesterday near the loading dock on residential Dean Street, waiting to deliver lighting for the Barbra Streisand shows that begin tomorrow.

Less than three days earlier, at the end of the Jay-Z run, a truck parked above ground was being packed with equipment--out of the street, to be sure, but quite noisy after midnight.
