The first page of the New York Times's New York section offers Michael Powell's excellently skeptical column in the left column, In Queens, an Oasis Neglected by the City, with a not-quite-investigation: New Brooklyn Arena Serves as a Test: Will Fans Accept Smaller Sodas?

Sure, I know there are valid reasons for playing up the latter story, given the high public profile, and Powell's column does contain photos with the jump. But the juxtaposition is a metaphor of sorts for the Times's overall Atlantic Yards coverage.
