Barclays Center TV, presented by WPIX (of course), last week presented a brisk, upbeat two-minute video summarizing all the fun stuff that's happened there.
The video, embedded in a tweet below, starts with groundbreaking and construction, then moves on to Jay-Z's debut concert, including Nets basketball, more concerts (Elton John, Rolling Stones, Barbra Streisand, etc.), boxing, family events, NBA draft, food/swag, NCAA hoops, wrestling, even the hockey Islanders.
"As Jay-Z knows, this arena is largely about the children and youth of Brooklyn," arena developer Bruce Ratner said at a 2011 media event. Or, perhaps, about a lot more.
