This watchdog blog, by journalist Norman Oder, offers analysis, commentary, and reportage about the $4.9B project to build the Barclays Center arena and 15-16 towers at a crucial site in Brooklyn. As of 2018, after the arena and four towers were built, Greenland will own 95% of future construction.

Barclays Center releases April 2014 calendar: 10 events, plus NBA playoffs
The Barclays Center yesterday circulated its planned April calendar, which at first appears skimpy, with five Nets games, one high school tripleheader, one concert, two boxing events, and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Show, which is being taped--unlike the MTV Video Music Awards--for later broadcast.

Last year's calendar
The April 2013 calendar was similar, but with two more concerts, the circus, and an additional boxing event.
