Friday night in Prospect Heights: videos show traffic jams near Barclays Center

Note the two posts below from Instagram on Saturday, showing videos of, first, a traffic jam on Dean Street between Carlton and Vanderbilt avenues, then Bergen Street between Flatbush and Carlton avenues, both at around 8 pm.

While both streets have become stressed because of construction of Pacific Park Brooklyn, the Barclays Center event at the time, Ladies Night Super Jam, was likely a factor.

Solid cars on Dean Street between Carlton and Vanderbilt last night at 8pm. The Dean/Carlton intersection regularly fails during rush hour and sometimes outside of it. Like Dean, Bergen Street between Flatbush and Carlton was also a parking lot last night at 8. This is a regular occurrence during rush hours (and sometimes outside them).
