At the Dean Street construction site for B2: work on structural steel and metal decks

Below are several photos of the scene last week at the site of the B2 modular tower at the intersection of Dean Street and Flatbush Avenues, and stretching along Dean Street.

As indicated in the most recent two-week Atlantic Yards Construction Alert:
  • Completion of Erection of Structural Steel within the B2 site and Dean Street transfer foundation will be completed during this reporting period.
  • Installation of formwork and rebar for the metal deck slabs, cellar and 1st floor will continue during this reporting period.
But the huge crane that was moved to the site, (presumably) mainly to lift the finished modules into place, doesn't have much to do, and seemed idle.

Maybe that's because the timing of the building has been pushed back for six months.
