On morning of Barclays commencement (unmentioned in calendar), parking scofflaws abound on Dean Street
It seems reasonable, as I and arena neighbors have pointed out, for the monthly Barclays Center calendar circulated to residents to include--as it long did--non-ticketed events. They can bring unexpected crowds and congestion.
And, as shown in photos from the morning of the Brooklyn College commencement this past Tuesday, 5/30/17, they can bring scofflaw vehicles. These are photos from a "No Standing" area: Dean Street between Carlton and Vanderbilt avenues, already constrained in part by an extra-large construction fence.
Surely some of the vehicles were not associated with the event (post office, "student driver"), but many are (limos, etc.). They went unticketed.
