There was a pre-season Nets game at the Barclays Center last night. There also was a fire truck that had some trouble getting into the station on Dean Street just east of Sixth Avenue. That caused a considerable backup on Dean when I walked by at around 7 pm.
Perhaps most notable, in the third photo below, the NBA bus that typically has been on the "pad" outside the loading dock was on the street, in a passage currently made unavailable by the construction fence for the B2 tower, aka 461 Dean. What happens when construction is finished and the street becomes more passable?
