For second straight two-week period, no deliveries of modules for B2 tower scheduled (so Dec. 12 was a media event)

Even more evidence that the initial delivery and stacking of modules on 12/12/13 for the B2 tower was mostly a media event, as I contended, appears in the latest two-week Atlantic Yards Construction Alert (bottom), prepared by developer Forest City Ratner and distributed yesterday by Empire State Development.

For the second straight two-week period (here's the previous alert), there are no deliveries scheduled. But there will be some work this Saturday.

The sections below are verbatim from the alert.

Work is anticipated to be completed in June 2014.
• Contractor will continue drilling the 24” diameter soldier piles along Pacific Street from the inside of the LIRR yard during this reporting period. The drilling equipment will be located within the rail yard. Sound – dampening blankets have been installed along the length of fence on Pacific Street, between Carlton and Vanderbilt Avenues.
