A new staffer coming to ESD, with some role in Atlantic Yards

A reader--hey, reader, send me an email--pointed me to this ad for an open position at Empire State Development:
Community relations for ESD’s real estate development projects, including Atlantic Yards, HCDC initiatives, large development projects and state asset development.
Assist with the execution of ESD’s legislative agenda, interfacing with both the Administration and State Legislative Branches on behalf of the Agency and liaison to NYC Community Boards.
Does this mean much change for Brooklynites? Unlikely.

This new position will report to Marion Phillips III, ESD spokeswoman Kay Sarlin Wright clarified in prompt response to my inquiry. In October, Brooklynites were informed that Phillips would oversee overall community relations for ESDC.

The new staffer will focus primarily on government and legislative affairs, while Derek Lynch will remain the agency's community relations manager for Atlantic Yards.
