Atlantic Yards/Pacific Park infographics: what's built/what's coming/what's missing, who's responsible, + project FAQ/timeline (pinned post)

Lawsuit by Black former Brooklyn Nets staffers charging racial discrimination has been settled, with no further details.

So, were two Black former team attendants for the Brooklyn Nets not re-hired/let go because of racial discrimination, as they charged in a federal lawsuit?

Or were Eddie Bolden and Juwan Williams overstating allegations against their white supervisor, as the team argued, among other pushback?

Well, as I wrote earlier this month, it was impossible to fully resolve the factual dispute without it being tested in court--or, perhaps, left unresolved if a settlement is negotiated.

Instead of "perhaps," I should've writtten "more likely," because cases like these often don't go to trial--the costs of ligitation are just too high.

Indeed, yesterday we learned from a case filing in federal court (right) that the case was settled, with (of course) no details about what might have been paid, or any other provisions.
