Road to Brooklyn: latest episode focuses on the logo

The sixth and latest episode of the Road to Brooklyn web series focuses on the Nets' new logo, which most interviewees like, though a few don't.

"This could be the biggest, most powerful logo icon change in sports in a long, long time," says Christopher Arena, the NBA's VP of Apparel.

"It was really just Jay's vision that Brooklyn was about black and white," recounts Nets/arena CEO Brett Yormark, hyping the role of Jay-Z, who's "providing an incredible amount of street credibility... and that goes a long way. He is all in."

Paul Lukas of Uni-Watch says, "I give them a lot of credit with a simple black and white design, which I think is really gutsy, in an era when people are doing all kinds of technicolor nonsense."
