Okay, that down Barclays escalator is still down (perpetually?). New deadline Dec. 26.

The down escalator at the Barclays Center was supposed to be up and running by Dec. 14, after an outage lasting about three weeks. That had been extended a week, I wrote a week ago. 

Since then, as the photo shows, the deadline was extended until Dec. 26. Given that, as one commenter observed, no repair people have been visible, I don't think anyone should bet on that deadline.
