Never mind: LIRR retaining work announced for next week, then canceled

Yesterday, Pacific Park Brooklyn sent out a notice announcing "Restricted Parking on Pacific Street between Carlton & 6th Avenues," next Monday (Aug. 8) through Friday (Aug. 12):

As part of Pacific Park Brooklyn construction the LIRR retaining wall located on Pacific Street between Carlton & 6th Avenues will be back filled in preparation for fire suppression installation and this work will restrict parking on Pacific Street.

Later in the day, they sent out another notice saying the operation was canceled--no reason given--and another notice would be issued when the work is rescheduled.
