The January 2016 Barclays Center event calendar shows how the Islanders make a difference

Here's the January 2016 Barclays Center event calendar. Note ten Nets basketball games, seven Islanders hockey games, one boxing event, one concert, and two Harlem Globetrotters games. That's a total of 21 events.

The Islanders do make a difference. In January 2015, there were to be be seven Nets games, two college basketball games, one comedy show, and three concerts, for a total of 13 events, but one concert was rescheduled to February.
