Barclays Center hasn't released September calendar of events, but here's the list; hockey game biggest test case
The Barclays Center typically releases an event calendar before the coming month, listing not only events but also the expected attendance, which helps neighbors figure out what events might impact the neighborhood.
They haven't done so yet, but the arena website, of course, has its own calendar, and lists 12 events, including one that already occurred Sunday.
The events are mostly concerts, but also include one boxing card and one wrestling show. Probably the most interesting test case will be the hockey game Saturday Sept. 21 between the New York Islanders and New Jersey Devils, since then we'll see how many hockey fans drive and how many use public transportaiton.
Last October, Terence Kelly, the arena's Community Affairs Manager, said all calendars would be distributed mid-month, beginning with the November 2012 calendar being sent on Monday, October 15.
