It's an anodyne enough campaign, I guess, and the word "roads" does have a connection to "crossing." But "All subways" would be more precise, if we're being literal.

The view from that window sure isn't toward Downtown Brooklyn, though.

Availabilities

As to availabilities, studios start at $3,385, 1-BRs at $3,995, and 2-BRs at $6,700. 

But in some cases that's "Net Effective Rent," or indicates price reductions. 

Let's go to StreetEasy, which shows that one studio with a $3,395 Net Effective Rent is listed at $3,638, with one month free on a 15-month lease.

A 1-BR listed at $3,995 started May 1 at $4,388, then went to $4,095 after a day, and then to its current level after a day.

The 2-BR listed at $6,700 started in January at $7,350, quickly dropped to $6,900, then in March was lowered to the current level. 

Affordable units

The 30% affordable units are at a discount from the allowable maximum, which implies a recognition that units at 130% of Area Median Income may not be a huge bargain: studios at $1,905 (allowable: $2,263); 1-BRs at $2,390 (allowable: $2,838), and 2-BRs at $3,344 (allowable: $3,397).
