Nets/arena CEO: they need entry-level workers (pay unclear); job listing at Levy Restaurants but not BSE Global

So, according to a recent podcast interview with John Abbamondi, CEO of the Brooklyn Nets and the arena operating company, the Barclays Center has job openings--sort of.

As indicated below, I couldn't find any link on the BSE Global site, which does not list hourly arena jobs. At least as of December 2015, the last time there was a union protest presaging contract renewal, employees complained that they got too few hours to qualify for benefits and, instead of giving people more hours, the arena hired more people, which led to low morale, according to a former security guard.

Why a shortage?

So, why might there be openings, given that they always had a plethora of applicants and a large pool of workers? Well, we first don't know how the wages/hours compare to other jobs out there.

Also, it's possible that some people aren't yet comfortable working indoors with maskless--albeit vaccinated, and/or testing negative for COVID-19--fans.

Or that they're not vaccinated themselves. Or that, at least until the federal unemployment supplement of $300 a week runs out in early September, they're doing OK on unemployment insurance. (That depends on their previous income, of course, since it would be possible to work part-time at Barclays and still collect unemployment insurance.)

The work available

An ad from Levy Restaurants for Hawkers/Vendors doesn't mention pay rate.
