Errant oculus image offers ironic comment on Barclays as "Home of the New York Islanders"

It's a little piece of inadvertent commentary, isn't it?

The digital signage at the Barclays Center oculus--subject of concern, presumably dispelled, about improperly extended overnight operation--was on the fritz yesterday, with a horizontal rectangle interrupting the center of the messages. (Photos by Michael D. D. White of Noticing New York.)

In the one below, the rectangle almost acts like a line x-ing out the logo of the New York Islanders, putting an ironic gloss on the claim, "Home of the New York Islanders."

After all, the team will play four of seven home games this month at the downsized Nassau Coliseum, closer to its historic fan base, four of seven home games in February in Nassau, all nine home games in March in Nassau, as with the one scheduled home game in April.
