It's a bit strange that those in charge--Pacific Park Brooklyn Community Liaison Office and Empire State Development, the state agency overseeing/shepherding the project--didn't announce this until today.
Now, apparent delays in the West Portal construction for the Atlantic Yards/Pacific Park Brooklyn mean that Sixth Avenue between Atlantic Avenue and Pacific Street will be closed continuously through 5 am Wednesday, June 10, with two-way traffic expected to be restored by 5 am, Thursday, June 11, as indicated in the 2nd Updated Community Notice, below.

As previously announced, over the weekend from 10 pm tonight through 5 am, Monday, June 8, Atlantic Avenue will be narrowed to one lane eastbound and two lanes westbound.
During the nightly and continuous closure times, crosswalks across Atlantic Avenue at / from S. Portland Avenue will be closed, as pedestrians must follow the sidewalk along the north side of Atlantic Avenue to later reach points south.
