Barclays Center releases March 2025 event calendar: 17 ticketed events, including three comedy shows. Plus a few mysteries.

The Barclays Center this week released its March 2025 event calendar for neighbors, with 17 ticketed events: seven Brooklyn Nets games, six concerts, three comedy shows, and one boxing card.

That's similar to March 2023, but the arena was busier in March 2024, with 23 ticketed events, given ten college basketball tournament games, albeit some on the same day.

Then again, it's unusual for the arena to book three comedy acts in one month, as it has this month. Also unusual: four of the concerts--Zhou Shen, J-Hope, and G.E.M.--involve acts based in Asia.
Private or nonticketed

An unspecified private event will be held from 7 pm to 10 pm on Tuesday, March 4. It's unclear whether this is a large event that would fill the building and perhaps require numerous buses, or a small event confined to a smaller space.

The arena no longer announces most private events, which disserves neighbors who should be told about potentially disruptive crowds.

Also note that, on Tuesday, March 25, a 4V4 tournament will be held at an unspecified time. There are no tickets on the arena's website, but the youth development program Sports United last fall held a similarly named basketball tourney.

The calendar somehow also lists the Brooklyn Wine Club event on March 28, which occurs during a Nets game. Tickets for members are $450, for non-members $525. So they over-disclose private events that could use the advertising boost?

March 2024

The March 2024 event calendar involved 23 ticketed events over 20 days: six Brooklyn Nets games, seven Atlantic 10 men's basketball events over five days, three NCAA March Madness tournament events over two days, six concerts, and one comedy show.
