Barclays Center releases March 2023 event calendar: expect bus loading/unloading next Tuesday & Wednesday for A10 tournament; REFORM Alliance job fair March 20
The Barclays Center yesterday released its March 2023 event calendar with 17 ticketed events over 15 days: seven Brooklyn Nets games, seven Atlantic 10 men's basketball games over five days, and three concerts.
During the A10 Basketball Tournament on Tuesday, March 7 and Wednesday, March 8, the arena expects a large number of attendees arriving via bus at around 10 am, with pick-ups at about 1:30 pm, 1:45 pm, and 2 pm.
Job fair March 20
The REFORM Alliance, which works to transform probation and parole, will host its first Brooklyn Job Fair on Monday, March 20, from 10 am to 4 pm at the arena. The event is open to the public; those attending can sign up at the link here.
That's a retreat from March 2022, as shown further below, when there were 24 ticketed events over 22 days, with more concerts and other events. Was this an effect of trading, at least in the short-term, Ticketmaster for SeatGeek?
Lots of buses
During the A10 Basketball Tournament on Tuesday, March 7 and Wednesday, March 8, the arena expects a large number of attendees arriving via bus at around 10 am, with pick-ups at about 1:30 pm, 1:45 pm, and 2 pm.
"Buses will drop-off and stage for pick-ups on the streets that run along the perimeter of the arena," the arena stated. "We are working closely with the event producer to ensure that buses immediately leave the premises after dropping off guests. We are also providing Pedestrian Traffic Managers at crosswalks and all bus drop-off and pick-up areas."

The event will offer tangible pathways for people and communities impacted by the justice system, as well as others, to build economic opportunity. Recruiters from local employers and national corporations including Amazon, CVS Health, and more will be hiring for hundreds of open positions at all levels.
Recruiters will be interviewing candidates on-site and free career development resources and job readiness support will be available to all attendees, including:
- Record sealing education
- Professional attire advice
- Barber and makeup services
- Resume-building resources
Clara Wu Tsai, who owns the Brooklyn Nets, the New York Liberty, and the arena company with her husband Joe Tsai, is a co-founder. of the Reform Alliance.
