Barclays Center releases February 2022 event calendar: just seven ticketed events, after five cancellations
The Barclays Center released its February 2022 calendar, which is fairly sparse: five Brooklyn Nets games, one concert, and one Harlem Globetrotters game.
A second Globetrotters game later that day was cancelled, presumably because of limited demand.
Also canceled were two concerts (not one, as below) by The Weeknd, an El Concierton concert, and a Hillsong United music+worship service. Presumably, most are because of COVID, but Hillsong's founder recently resigned, "amid numerous scandals," according to the New York Post.
So instead of 12 ticketed events, there will be seven. (Plus, I guess, nonticketed high school basketball like a game tomorrow.)

The arena's February 2020 calendar included 25 events over 19 days: four Brooklyn Nets games, four New York Islanders games, five concerts, two Harlem Globetrotters games, one Oprah event, and nine Jurassic World Live Tour family shows over four days.
And then came COVID.
