Preparing for the MTV Video Music Awards, Barclays Center cordons off much of the plaza; Triangle Building now advertising Snapchat.

Preparation for the MTV Video Music Awards this coming Sunday, Sept. 12, requires cordoning off a large portion of the publicly accessible, privately controlled Barclays Center plaza--technically the Resorts World International NYC Plaza, or is it SeatGeek Plaza yet?

That leaves room for a stage and outdoor performances. I took the photos (and video) yesterday. Note that access to the MTA station will be barred during rehearsals Thursday and Friday, and during the show Sunday--times TBD.
