The agenda for Tuesday's Quality of Life meeting, an opportunity to hear updates about the project and have representatives of the developer and state respond to community questions, is typically vague, merely listing the entities that will be speaking. The meeting will be at 6 pm at 55 Hanson Place.
There can't be too much new, given that the previous meeting was just six weeks ago. (They're supposed to be bimonthly.) But construction on the B15 (662 Pacific) site is about to start, and construction on B3 (18 Sixth) is coming in the next months, so perhaps we'll hear an update.
Maybe we'll hear more about the legal case involving P.C. Richard's apparent right to return to replacement space at Site 5.
We also should hear questions, if not answers, about the fundamental project question: what's the ultimate timetable for each building? How will they meet the 2025 deadline for affordable housing? Will the rest of the towers take until 2035?
One new thing on the agenda announcement: at the bottom, there's a 24-hour contact phone number for concerns about the Barclays Center oculus, which is supposed to go dark between midnight and 6 am, but has periodically restarted, blaring bright images at Pacific Street neighbors. That number, already given to some residents, is now on the notice: 917-618-6661.
