Foreclosure auction of six development parcels postponed until Feb. 12. Will it happen? Lots of unknowns.
Was the future of Atlantic Yards/Pacific Park--the fate of the six parcels to be built over the MTA's Vanderbilt Yard--about to be decided at a foreclosure auction scheduled for Thursday?
I wrote about how it was, as of then, a black box, with no information about the conditions imposed on the sale, which might deter bidders.
Well, it didn't happen. It was postponed, I learned yesterday, until Feb. 12.
Does that mean it will happen then?
Who knows--there could be other negotiations going on.
