Late yesterday morning, I walked around the southeast block of the Atlantic Yards/Pacific Park site. People were sitting on the benches (though the open street at Vanderbilt Avenue was busier) and even the lawn in between B12 and B13, the towers of 595 Dean Street.
The back fence, lining a passageway between the four parcels/towers, is now draped in greenery, though the passage was still blocked between B13 and B14, aka 550 Vanderbilt.
And two important features aren't yet open: a children's playground between B11 (535 Carlton Ave.) and B12, as well as a fountain plaza between B13 and B14. Note: I'm not going to publish a photo, but a couple of parents were helping a child scale the fence to play inside the seemingly finished playground.
