Two days ago, I and others noted that Gov. Andrew Cuomo's New York Forward Re-Opening Advisory Board included representatives of several sports teams and venues but no one from the Barclays Center or Brooklyn Nets, which seemed odd, given the contributions of Joe Tsai, who owns the team and arena operating company.
That has been remedied. The New York Daily News last night reported that Tsai's wife Clara Tsai to be named as Nets representative on Governor Cuomo’s reopening advisory board and that the arena was not intentionally excluded from the still in-development board. The couple mainly lives in the San Diego area.
