New Department of Buildings map details Essential Active Construction Sites

The New York City Department of Buildings has published a map of Essential Active Construction Sites, which can be sorted among those deemed essential as:
  • Affordable Housing
  • Emergency Work
  • Homeless Shelter
  • Hospital/Health Care
  • Utility
As shown in the smaller screenshot at right, there are not sites around/near the Barclays Center designated as essential. Though the B4 and B15 towers could have been so designated, construction is heading for a pause, as I reported.

Also note that some "emergency work" at market-rate buildings is, as The Real Deal's Kathryn Brenzel explained, was "necessary to address immediate corrective action of conditions at the site."
