Atlantic Yards/Pacific Park FAQ, timeline, and infographics (pinned post)

In YIMBY's tallest 2024 roundup, six from Downtown Brooklyn. Atlantic Yards towers would make the list, at least if/when project is revised.

The publication YIMBY’s annual year-end countdown of the 31 tallest buildings under construction in New York include six around Downtown Brooklyn.

If the plans for Atlantic Yards/Pacific Park come to fruition as currently approved (top image below), perhaps only the B7 tower, approved at 460 feet, would make YIMBY's 2024 list.

However, if the project proceeds under plans floated in 2021 and 2023 several would make the list; the 910-foot tower (of two) at Site 5 would surely enter the city's Top Ten, given that in 2024 it would've placed sixth.
Also, B9, B6, and B7 likely would make the list, again if they are approved as once proposed. Presumably the expected incoming joint venture involving Related Companies will make its own proposals.

From YIMBY

At #3 is The Brooklyn Tower, a 1,066-foot residential supertall skyscraper at 9 DeKalb Avenue, at Flatbush Avenue:
the 93-story structure stands as the tallest structure in the outer boroughs and yields 550 residential units including 150 condominiums, 280 market-rate rentals, 120 affordable rentals, and 100,000 square feet of retail space in the podium and the adjoining landmarked Dime Savings Bank of Brooklyn....

Work on the tower concluded in 2023 but construction on the podium is still ongoing, with more of the lower levels now enclosed since our last update nearly a year ago.
That's a little bit of a stretch, because the tower's already open, but, yes, work on the podium continues.

At #14 is 98 Dekalb Avenue, a 610-foot-tall residential skyscraper in Fort Greene, but very close to Downtown Brooklyn, at Ashland Place:
Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Rockrose Development, the 49-story structure will span 418,092 square feet and yield 609 residential units and 3,775 square feet of commercial space. The property is alternately addressed as 180 Ashland Place and located at the corner of DeKalb Avenue and Ashland Place.
At #15 is The Brook, a 601-foot-tall residential skyscraper at 589 Fulton Street, where it meets DeKalb and Flatbush avenues:
Designed by Beyer Blinder Belle and developed by Witkoff Group and Apollo Global Management, the 51-story structure will span 557,973 square feet and yield 591 rental units with an average scope of 827 square feet, as well as 68,693 square feet of retail space, a cellar level, and two floors of recreational and sports amenities. Thirty percent of the units will be reserved for affordable housing.
At #18 is 625 Fulton Street, a 500-foot-tall residential skyscraper below 80 DeKalb Avenue, and between Rockwell Place and Hudson Avenue:
Designed by Fischer Rasmussen Whitefield Architects and developed by Rabsky Group with $450 million in construction financing from Madison Realty Capital, the 35-story structure will yield 1,098 rental units, 26,000 square feet of lower-level retail space, and an on-site parking garage for 250 vehicles.
At #24 is Hanover House, a 463-foot-tall residential tower at 17 Hanover Place, at Livingston Street:
Designed by Fogarty Finger and developed by Lonicera Partners, the 34-story structure spans 295,000 square feet and yields 314 rental apartments in one- to two-bedroom layouts, with 95 reserved for affordable housing, as well as 9,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
At #29 is 111 Willoughby Street, a 40-story mixed-use tower at Duffield Street:
Designed by GF55 Architects and developed by The Michaels Organization, Triangle Equities, and Geolo Capital, the 437-foot-tall structure will span 205,000 square feet and yield 227 rental units, a 20,000-square-foot ministry center for the St. Boniface parish, and 1,814 square feet of commercial space.
