Lots of Qs re @pacificparkbk #AtlanticYards
— Norman Oder (@AYReport) August 5, 2019
My take: it *may* Bpossible 2meet 2025 deadline (w/916 units), given plans I found 2build over railyard (inc. "100% #affordable tower)https://t.co/zZTKy9va4S
but NYS/developer won't provide details.
Oversight hearing @JoAnneSimonBK52?
So where's the schedule for the #AtlanticYards @pacificparkbk buildout?

Here's my coverage of @EmpireStateDev official claiming that asking for such transparency would be playing "gotcha": https://t.co/BWB1LD3wXj

And if the legal agreement is breached, it should be members of the community who decide how $2K/per apt/per month is spent on things we urgently need -- real affordable housing, culturally competent social services, job training, cleaner streets to name a few.

I think they *may* be able 2meet deadline
But lack of transparency means big Qs re #AtlanticYards @pacificparkbk may require oversight hearing https://t.co/zZTKy9va4S
#AtlanticYards has a history of changed deadlines/obligations. So deadline could stretch, or developer could meet it w/less "affordable" apartments

Still, Forest City was very reluctant in 2014 to agree to that penalty. That signals they took it v. seriously
Thanks.

I do know you have space limits, but... the story's even more complicatedhttps://t.co/zZTKy9va4Shttps://t.co/BWB1LD3wXj#AtlanticYards @pacificparkbk

This project is literally outside my window. My kids have watched its development their whole lives. If it finishes on time (which is wont) my son will be 12 years old. https://t.co/KpDFbQzC12
