The Barclays Center is hiring again (after firing again?), urging "Believe in Barclays. Believe in Brooklyn."
The Barclays Center is hiring again, which means, as far as I can tell, that the arena is firing again, or otherwise experiencing turnover.
After all, there's no sign they're adding full-time equivalent positions.

From the website Brooklyn Barclays Center Jobs:
The Barclays Center is a newly opened state-of-the-art sports and entertainment arena that is now making the neighborhood the pride of Brooklyn. You need to be Brooklyn's Best at Barclays.
Believe in Barclays. Believe in Brooklyn.
Barclays is currently recruiting candidates for positions on the concessions and culinary team.I find the "Believe in Barclays. Believe in Brooklyn." line most striking. For some reason, the ineffable belief in one's home borough is to be transferred to a belief in a private corporation--and a rather tainted one--that is said to embody the borough.
If you are a Brooklyn, Community Board 2,3,6,8 or NYCHA resident, you'll be the first in line for consideration during this recruitment process, though all registered candidates will be considered.
Pre-screening events will be held in downtown Brooklyn between August 13th and 16th. All interested and qualified candidates must attend a pre-screening event to be considered for a position. Registration (below) is required to attend pre-screening events. To be considered for a position, you must meet the requirements for the position and be willing to work flexible hours.
Final interviews will be conducted in downtown Brooklyn during the week of August 19th.
I suspect that's an easier phrase to lob at attendees at Brooklyn Nets games. Is that supposed to distract potential workers from the fact that these are part-time jobs with no benefits?
