Barclays Center no longer requiring vaccinated patrons to wear masks. Teams in other cities require masks but not vaccination. Then there's eating/drinking.

The Barclays Center has changed its policies regarding face masks yet again, no longer requiring them of vaccinated fans, a policy that went beyond official requirements and that is perhaps unenforceable, given that they were allowed to be unmasked while eating and drinking--and would surely want to shout or sing at games and concerts.

After all, vaccinated patrons can eat inside restaurants without masks.

The current policy states:
Fully vaccinated individuals are not required to wear a mask inside Barclays Center. Everyone else over age 2 must wear a mask at all times while in the venue, except while actively eating or drinking. Please check back periodically for any updates with respect to this mandate.
Children under 12 can't be vaccinated but some must wear a mask:
Children under age 12 – not currently eligible for COVID-19 vaccination – can attend events with a vaccinated individual, but please note:
Children ages 5 to 11 must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test (an antigen test taken within six hours of the event start time, or a PCR test taken within 72 hours of the day of the event)
Children under age 4 will not be required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test
Children ages 3 to 11 must wear a mask while inside the venue, except while actively eating or drinking

Madison Square Garden's policy is similar, though policies of other sports teams vary, according to this article.

Miami Heat mask policy

The Miami Heat does not require vaccination but requires masks except for while eating/drinking (see screenshot at right), as do the Philadelphia 76ers (according to a city policy), the Boston Celtics, and the Milwaukee Bucks. The Chicago Bulls require proof of vaccination or a negative test, as well as mask.

For Cleveland Cavaliers fans, masks are recommended. The Detroit Pistons' arena does not require vaccination or masks.

In New York City, Lincoln Center, though, is requiring masks even for outdoor ticketed events, as well as proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test. Yankee Stadium does not require vaccination, though unvaccinated fans are required to wear masks.
