Barclays Center releases August 2025 event calendar: 12 ticketed events, plus one free one. Four events have amplified sound on the plaza.

The Barclays Center yesterday released its August 2025 event calendar to community members. It includes 12 ticketed events, including six New York Liberty games, five concerts, and one wrestling show.

(In August 2024, there were 12 ticketed events, as well.)

Those concerts include two nights of the inaugural Planet Brooklyn festival, which is shared with events at the Brooklyn Paramount, Brooklyn Academy of Music, and nearby block parties.

Note amplified sound on Ticketmaster Plaza for the Aug. 10 Liberty game, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, and the Planet Brooklyn festival days Aug. 23 and Aug. 24 from 1 pm to 10 pm.

Also note the Aug. 17 listing for the AfroBeats Takeover: Summer Soundclash, sponsored by the Social Justice Fund (SJF) of arena company owners Joe and Clara Wu Tsai. Though sound will start at noon, the show/event is listed elsewhere at 1-7 pm.

By contrast, the July 2025 calendar released by the arena simply listed the SJF-sponsored concert as a "private event."

August 2024

The August 2024 event calendar included 12 ticketed events: three New York Liberty games, two Professional Bull Riders competitions, and seven concerts.
