So, there will be an "activation" on the Barclays Center plaza, with "elevated sound," tomorrow and Sunday, before Brooklyn Nets games. That doesn't tell us much. (Updated)

Those on the Barclays Center mailing list recently got two updates to the announced April 2025 event calendar (link), in unsigned emails from BSE Global Community Relations:

We wanted to make you aware of an addition to the April programming at Barclays Center. Prior to the Nets vs. Hawks game on April 10, there will be an activation on the Plaza from 2-7:30 pm with elevated sound. Please be in touch with any questions.

We wanted to make you aware of an addition to the April programming at Barclays Center. Prior to the Nets vs. Knicks game on April 13, there will be an activation on the Plaza from 11:30 am-1 pm with elevated sound. Please be in touch with any questions.

Well, the obvious question--which they could have answered--is: what the heck is an "activation"?

Is it a pep rally? A set of giveaways? Musical entertainment? Announcements?

How much of the plaza will be cordoned off?

Also note the designation of "Plaza," rather than "Ticketmaster Plaza."
