Coming in November: an ice rink at Brooklyn Bridge Park. New project from BSE Global, parent of arena operating company & Brooklyn Nets

After responding to a Request for Proposals from Brooklyn Bridge Park for a seasonal ice skating concession at Emily Warren Roebling Plaza, just under and east of the Brooklyn Bridge, BSE Global, in partnership with IMG, will operate Glide Brooklyn from November 15 through March 1, offering "iconic views of the Manhattan skyline."

IMG is a sports management company. BSE Global is the umbrella company that operates the Barclays Center and owns the Brooklyn Nets and New York Liberty. This is a first expansion for BSE under current owner Joe Tsai.

While under the control of Mikhail Prokhorov, BSE expanded to operate the Nassau Coliseum and renovate Webster Hall, but left both projects. It also announced, but did not start, the renovation of the Brooklyn Paramount.
