Last night comedian Kevin Hart played two shows at the Barclays Center, scheduled for 7 pm and 10:30 pm.
Though the NYPD, as noted in the tweet below, expected no road closures or traffic delays, it still wasn't smooth sailing.
I'm told--backed up by a few tweets--that the overlap between the ending of the first show and the beginning of the second led to some significant slowing of traffic and noise around the arena.
The photo at right, of northbound traffic on Dean Street at Sixth Avenue, was taken at about 10:50 pm.
