The theme for the Brooklyn Nets playoffs run this year is "For Brooklyn," another clever effort to merge and muddy the identity of the team and the borough.
On the Daily News plaza on Thursday, I shot the brief video below, which shows the benefits of synergy.
It shows how the "Playoffs For Brooklyn" promotion is used on the bridge between the Atlantic Center and Atlantic Terminal malls, both owned by arena developer Forest City Ratner, and an image of Nets players appears on the facade of the Atlantic Center mall.
Then the camera swings around for the "Playoffs For Brooklyn" promo on the facade of the arena entrance itself.
