At Barclays Center, enter the Corcoran Lounge (and ever more branding)

If the Barclays Center, as architecture critic Paul Goldberger wrote in 2010, has "more naming opportunities here than in a suburban synagogue," well, there was still a lot of "inventory" to sell.

And why not get a sponsor for the concessions? So tomorrow is the launch of "the Corcoran Lounge, our newest premium bar on Suite Level A," complete with iPad kiosks to browse real estate listings on Corcoran.com.
"Nets legend" (really?) Kerry Kittles will be on hand, and the first 200 guests can get "a $5 drink voucher towards the purchase of the Corcoran Lounge's signature drink 'The Broker.'" (Actual cost = probably much more.)

Corcoran, by the way, just happens to be the exclusive marketing and sales agent for the 550 Vanderbilt condos.
