Ratner spokesman Joe DePlasco said the developer is working on fixes such as traffic signal timing changes. The Department of Transportation will evaluate how well it's working and request changes if necessary, he said.

Note that I was unable to get a comment from the Department of Transportation. And while the developer can certainly suggest signal timing changes--which were mentioned to me by residents, as well--it's the DOT's responsibility to manage public streets.
