
Arena construction won't begin until other lawsuits are cleared, property is transferred by eminent domain, and tax-exempt bonds issued. While it's possible that construction could begin this year, I'd bet against it.
This watchdog blog offers analysis, commentary, and reportage about Forest City Ratner's planned $4 billion Atlantic Yards project, the largest ever in Brooklyn, to build a basketball arena plus at least 16 high-rise buildings.
